Viral Kumbh Mela Influencer's Inter-Faith Marriage Sparks Legal Storm

Madhya Pradesh police have arrived in Kochi, Kerala, to investigate a controversial marriage involving a viral social media influencer, amid claims she is a minor. The woman, who has asserted she is 18 years old, sought protection from Kerala Police after her family alleged she was underage.

The MP police team's visit follows an inquiry by the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes, which deemed the marriage illegal. The commission claimed the woman, who rose to prominence after appearing in videos from the Kumbh Mela festival, was a minor at the time of her marriage to a man from a different faith.
