The impact of the collision was so severe that the lorry was completely mangled, trapping several passengers inside. Emergency responders rushed to the scene and worked to extricate the victims, many of whom suffered critical injuries. The injured were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause of the crash. Initial reports suggest that the lorry driver may have lost control of the vehicle, leading to the devastating collision. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims, but have confirmed that the death toll is expected to rise as some of the injured remain in critical condition.
