1 min read

In a devastating assault, Russia has carried out its deadliest attack against Ukraine this year, killing at least 17 people and injuring more than 100 across the country. The relentless wave of drone and missile strikes struck multiple regions, including the southern port city of Odesa, where nine people lost their lives.
The capital city of Kyiv was also hit hard, with four fatalities, including a 12-year-old boy. Three more people were killed in the Dnipropetrovsk region, and another person died in the Zaporizhzhia oblast. The scale of the attack is staggering, with Russia launching nearly 700 drones and dozens of ballistic and cruise missiles in a single barrage.
This latest assault is a stark reminder of the ongoing conflict and the devastating toll it continues to take on the Ukrainian people. As the war rages on, the international community must remain steadfast in its support for Ukraine and its efforts to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
